Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Instructor Renewal Course
Description and Target Audience: This American Heart Association (AHA) course is designed to allow current ACLS Instructors to renew their instructor status. ACLS instructors must have an in-depth knowledge of and experience base in all 10 of the ACLS core cases as well as the ability to effectively deliver and discuss this knowledge. This course is for current members of the CoxHealth Training Center. Entry by a non-member must be approved by the Training Center Coordinator.
Testing: Written exam (50 questions) which must be passed with an 84%. One-on-one skills testing required.
Course Length: 4 hours
Certification Length: 2 years
Includes: Updated handouts, $150.00 Training Center Membership Fee and certification card. This fee covers instructor support for 2 years and required course monitoring visit.
Location: CoxHealth Education Center, CoxHealth North, K400, 4th Floor, Classroom #1.
Directions: Enter Cox North from the Robberson Ave. Northwest Entrance. Upon entering the building turn right and take the elevator to the 4th floor. You will arrive in the Education Center lobby.
